- Okay, I'm just moving from the Atari world to the wonderful world of the
- Amiga and I need some help...Assuming that I have a hard drive equipped
- A1200 with OS 3.0 here is what I would like to be able to do...
-
- 1) Setup Arc, Lha, Lzh, and Zip so that whenever I double-click on a file
- ending in that extension-it will decompress its contents at its current
- location.
- 2) Same thing with any file that ends in Doc, Txt, Readme, Ascii, etc,...
- so that when I double click on it-it will be displayed for reading.
-
- I'm used to being able to do this with my Atari by installing applications
- such as Zip so that the parameters (like -x) are passed to it and used on
- the file I've double-clicked...I would really like this convenience on the
- A1200 also. Oh, one more thing...the version of TOS I was using on the
- Atari allowed me to define one letter keyboard shortcuts (for example,
- closing the top window with " C " or showing info on any file, drive, or
- folder by typing " S ") Can I do this with the A1200? Thanks in advance
- for any info, help, etc,...!!! Later :)
